Highway- McAllister Industrial Park is four kilometres from Highway #1 - New Brunswick's main arterial highway - on Saint John's east side. Spruce Lake Industrial Park on the City's west side is also conveniently located near this highway. It connects you and the City of Saint John, NB with the Trans-Canada highway at Sussex, and the U.S. highway system at Calais, Maine.
Airport- The Saint John Airport is 16 kilometres from the centre of Saint John, NB. It operates 24/7 year-round for scheduled flights, Medivac and general aviation for your convenience. It is also supported by Category 5 Emergency Response Service. The runways measure 7,000 x 200 feet and 5,100 x 200 feet.
Seaport- The Port of Saint John is the province's largest seaport, handling an average of 25 million metric tonnes of cargo annually. Operating year round, this deep-water Port is served by two railways and numerous trucking firms.
The port features some of North Amercia's most advanced terminal facilities. They offer high-speed handling of containers, forest products and bulk cargo including petroleum products, salt and potash. The port also maintains excellent connections with Europe, North and South America, Asia, Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean Basin. And it offers charter movements to all parts of the world.
Rail- N.B. Southern Railway Ltd. and CN are ready to meet your complete rail shipment requirements. N.B. Southern Railway Ltd. is a locally owned short line that transports freight to the western U.S. via direct rail access to the U.S. northeast. CN's Saint John/Moncton short line connects with the company's mainline for easy shipping to central Canada. The city's railways also have the capacity to handle bulk, liquids, intermodal and specialty moves.
Ferries- Bay Ferries' Princess of Acadia ferry is a convenient link between Saint John, NB and Digby, Nova Scotia. Serving car and truck transport, the ferry leaves Saint John twice daily from October 15 - June 24, and three times daily between June 25 - October 14.
