McAllister Industrial Park

In 1974, the Province of New Brunswick opened McAllister Industrial Park. It was developed to capitalize on the success of Grandview Industrial Park and accommodate industrial expansion on Saint John's east side. In 1993, Saint John Industrial Parks Ltd. took over management of the park.

McAllister Industrial Park has experienced considerable growth over the years. Much of it occurred during the early 1990s, when the City of Saint John renewed its focus on industrial expansion. Today, McAllister Industrial Park is one of the fastest-growing light manufacturing and commercial parks in Atlantic Canada. It has also garnered community support for its continued dedication to green technologies, practices and processes. And it is a partner in several initiatives to encourage economic growth in this community.
